Our Story

From a young age, I found joy in doodling and sketching on my notebooks, letting my imagination flow freely onto the pages. During my college years, while studying engineering, I honed my drawing skills through technical subjects, which added structure and precision to my love for art. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for kawaii characters—Hello Kitty, Keroppi, My Melody, and so many other whimsical creations by Sanrio. In middle school, visiting the Sanrio shop called Gift Gate became a magical escape, surrounded by endless shelves of adorable merchandise that fueled my fascination.Fast forward to 2023, my partner (an illustrator during his college days) and I began reflecting on the things we truly love and the activities that bring us happiness after experiencing some challenging events in our family earlier that year. We realised that we shared a passion for drawing and painting and it brought us a lot of happiness, calm and healing after that challenging year. Transforming our artwork into merchandise took root, and thus, Blessed Colours Designs was born. It was a journey of creating fun illustrations that turned into cute merch with the goal to make other people happy and bring joy to their lives as these creations brought a lot of joy into our lives. You can feel the fun, vibrant and boost of energy and colours on every illustration that we created which is inspired by our happy moments and experiences in life.
